Material & Process

Boyo objects are designed and produced entirely in Italy through collaboration with specialized metal workshops. The production process combines industrial precision with manual expertise, allowing each form to retain accuracy while preserving the sensitivity of hand finishing.

Working with food-grade stainless steel, every piece undergoes multiple stages of shaping, polishing, and surface refinement. Subtle variations remain a natural result of this process, reflecting the material and the human hand involved in its making.

This approach ensures durability, material integrity, and continuity of form — values that guide Boyo’s ongoing exploration of contour, balance, and proportion.

Materials

Crafted from food-grade AISI 304 (18/10) stainless steel, Boyo pieces offer durability, corrosion resistance, and safe everyday food contact. Each serving stand and tray undergoes precision cutting, forming, polishing, and manual finishing processes carried out by specialized metal workshops in Italy.
